Alexander Isak has scored six goals across eight top-flight matches this term Eddie Howe has provided an injury update on Newcastle United star Alexander Isak ahead of their trip to Wolves on Saturday. Isak, who has been carrying a few little knocks and niggles this season, went down clutching his leg after just a quarter of an hour during Newcastle’s Champions League defeat to Borussia Dortmund on Wednesday.
‘But it’s a recurrence of the groin he suffered when he was playing for Sweden, so we need to assess that. ‘I think he’s having a scan today. We don’t anticipate that’s going to be too bad.
