Edinburgh named as most likely Scottish city to meet a ghost
Spooky season is now in full swing with Halloween just around the corner and a new study has warned you may want to watch out for any ghosts in one haunted Scots city.
With these figures equating to 22 for every 10 square miles, Marianne Sparks, travel expert and owner of European Waterways, has explained exactly why Edinburgh came out on top as well as recommending other destinations for a spooky Scottish road trip. “One of the most haunted locations in Edinburgh is the Edinburgh Castle. In recent years, visitors have reported frequent sightings of ghostly figures, including a phantom piper and the spirits of prisoners once imprisoned in the Castle dungeons.
