Experts have uncovered a significant surge in searches for 'feet pics' across homes in the Scottish capital. Data analysis reveals a staggering 89 percent increase in searches for the sexual fetish centered on feet in Auld Reekie. Edinburgh outpaces other major Scottish cities, with Glasgow coming in second with a 55 percent rise, followed by Aberdeen and Dundee, both witnessing a 50 percent surge.
The research was conducted by AussieBoots, a UK-based footwear firm. The team analyzed the year-on-year change in average monthly searches for 'feet pics' across the United Kingdom. Their findings showed an overall 14 percent increase in Scotland. The study report states, 'Across Scotland, searches for ‘feet pics’, a term associated with a sexual fetish centered on feet - saw the highest increase in Edinburgh, surging by 89%. Glasgow ranked second with a 55% rise, followed by Aberdeen and Dundee both with a 50% increase.'Pete Bryden, speaking on behalf of AussieBoots, commented on the findings, saying, 'The significant rise in searches suggests a growing mainstream curiosity around foot fetishes, with Edinburgh leading the trend in Scotland with an 89% increase. “Whether influenced by social media, wider cultural shifts, or evolving attitudes towards fetish content, the data reflects how online behaviours are constantly changing. “As interest surges across multiple UK cities, it’s clear that discussions around alternative interests and digital expression continue to expand.' This research comes after a study last month placed Edinburgh as the third city in the UK where people are most actively seeking love. Ahead of Valentine's Day, monthly Google searches were analyzed by Casino Revisor to identify UK cities most eager to find love through dating apps and events over the previous year. Plymouth took the top spot, while Edinburgh secured the third position, following Bournemouth.
