'Do they think they're in London or something?!'
An Edinburgh parking space has gone on sale for an eye-watering £27,500 - leaving residents gobsmacked. Located just off Albany Street in the city's Old Town, the pricey one-and-a-half car parking spot can be found in a secure car park with a barrier and fob access, Edinburgh Live reports.
According to the Scottish Sun, a shocked Reddit user shared a picture of the listing along with the caption: "£27k for a… parking space? Am I reading that right? Why in the world?" Another wrote: "Welcome to Little London." While a third quipped: "You only see a parking spot, with a bit of work that’s a three bed student flat or a luxury AirBnB."
