Edinburgh experienced downpours on Tuesday night along with many other parts of the country.
Footage has captured rain pouring into the St James Quarter in Edinburgh as thunderstorms hit Scotland on Tuesday night.
St James Quarter only opened last year but has previously faced issues during wet weather, Edinburgh Live reports. Last August, shoppers at the flagship centre told of having to use their ‘umbrellas inside’ after rainwater flooded into the building. There is a yellow weather warning for thunderstorms across Scotland with the Met Office warning that the country could experience sudden flooding. The warning is in place from 4pm until 11pm tonight.
