Watchdog Education Scotland commended the head teacher for providing 'strong and compassionate' support to staff and the school community.
Education inspectors have written to families with the results of their latest visit to a primary school and nursery in Coatbridge that no follow-up action will be required.

The inspectors also found the environment within both the school and nursery to be nurturing, and promoting positive attitudes towards learning as well as strong relationships between pupils and staff. These included a more responsive approach to nursery children's interests, improvements in measuring the children's progress, and to continue embedding systems providing more detailed monitoring of progress in both the nursery and primary school.
