An Edwardian pub which was once the home of a famous entrepreneur is set to enjoy a new lease of life.
External work has already begun and the White House will close on October 10 for internal work to begin and is due to reopen on October 31.A spokesman said: “As part of the refurbishment, The White House’s function room is being upgraded to provide a range of corporate and private functions. Set above the main pub, the function room is complete with its own dedicated bar.”The White House, part of the Chef & Brewer collection, is preparing for a six figure refurbishment.
Adam Berry, General Manager of the White House, said: “We’re so excited for work to start at The White House, the site has so much incredible history and the planned renovation is going to help our fantastic pub achieve its true potential.”
