An urban explorer has entered inside a supposedly haunted former police station and taken eerie photos showing the terrible state of disrepair it is now in. The old police station on Derby Street, Prescot , closed its doors in 2011 has stood empty ever since. Recent photos taken by urban explorerThere have long been rumours the station is haunted, with prisoners and police officers alike reporting unexplained noises and other spooky goings-on.
The site was reportedly bought by a housing association in 2011 with the intention of converting the building into flats. Urban explorer Kyle said:"Navigating round the eerie part as like any police station or courts were the cells. I do love a good police cell. The site is pretty trashed and stripped out albeit a few signage still clings to the walls reminding you to follow the law.” Below is 11 pictures showing the inside of the former police station and how it now looks.
