Julia Clark, 53, fell in love with Egyptian hotel worker Ahmed, 35, leaving her husband of 15 years to tie the knot abroad but her romance quickly changed.
Julia Clark, 53, from Lincoln, had been happily married to Peter, also 53, for 15 years and they had three children together. However, a family holiday to Egypt in August 2016 turned her life upside down
Ahmed, who has now been pictured, gave his side of the story. He said: "It was an Islamic wedding in an Islamic country so technically I was allowed four wives. Julia is an English woman and I am an Egyptian man and there are many differences between us in thought and culture." "Without much thought, I added him. To begin with, it was all just friendly banter, but after a quarter of a year, he let slip that he was falling for me. It took me five months to start feeling the same sparks fly.
Ahmed proposed to Julia on that holiday and in September 2020, the stay-at-home mum decided to leave her family and move to Egypt to start a new life. "A year on, I returned to England to visit my family for a couple of months. Before heading back to Egypt, I messaged Ahmed, asking if we could rekindle our relationship.
