Dino Toppmoller's side have gone from strength to strength ahead of the Europa Conference League campaign.

Red and black are not just the colours of Eintracht Frankfurt. They paint the picture of a club that has given itself an astonishing transformation by beating Rangers in the Europa League Final in May 2022.

It was the absence of those passionate fans in the Covid-hit season of 2020-21 which cost Eintracht dearly but they have made up for it since, taking 30,000 to the Nou Camp to beat Barcelona in the Europa League in 2021-22 and then the famous white shirt worn in the finals against Rangers has flown off the shelves.

The euphoria triggered by winning the Europa League and participating in the Champions League for the first time is also reflected in the merchandising turnover of £20m. "That's a house number that I couldn't have imagined at all five or six years ago," Frankenbach marvels. Despite the recent transfer proceeds, Eintracht will not pay crazy transfer fees in the future. They have set a bar of 25 million euros , and Eintracht will probably "never advance," Frankenbach emphasises. Because in addition to the pure transfer fee, the salary would then presumably also be in "an order of magnitude that we have not yet reached".
