A 80-year-old driver caused a low-speed collision at a Christmas fair, injuring a baby, a child, and five adults. The incident occurred when the driver was manoeuvring out of a parking space. Emergency services are on the scene and have reassured the community that no injuries are life-threatening or life-changing.
A BABY and child have been rushed to hospital and five adults were injured after a driver in his 80s ploughed into pedestrians at a Christmas fair.
But he ploughed into the crowd at "low-speed" who were attending the festive event at the top of the high street.They said: "We were called at midday on Sunday December 1 to a report of a car in a low-speed collision with pedestrians while manoeuvring out of a parking space. In a post on their Facebook page, they said: "As many of you are aware there has been an incident at the top of the High Street.
