Thursday, May 30, 2024 9:54PMA woman found dead during a welfare check inside a Richmond home on Memorial Day was an elementary school teacher, the Fort Bend County Sheriff's Office said.
The sheriff's office didn't disclose any other information, including how she died, who made the call, and whether investigators identified a suspect. ABC13 obtained an LCISD message sent to parents regarding Smith's death, but before the sheriff's office confirmed the homicide victim as a teacher.It is with a heavy heart that I address the tragic loss of one of our staff members during the weekend.
