On Tuesday morning, Elgin ISD broke ground on its fifth elementary school. Trinity Ranch Elementary will be located just south of U.S. 290.
Trinity Ranch Elementary will be located off Grist Mill Lane and Upper Elgin River Road, just south of U.S. 290. Construction is now underway.
Funding for the school is coming from a bond voters approved in 2021 that included funds for two new elementary schools. It's expected to cost about $39 million to build. “This is such an exciting moment for the Elgin community,” said Elgin ISD Superintendent of Schools Dr. Jana Rueter. “Every student deserves access to engaging and innovative learning experiences so they will have choice and opportunity for their future. Trinity Ranch Elementary will provide a safe and nurturing environment for students to learn and grow, fostering a sense of community and collaboration.
