The Red River Cultural District has announced this year's dates for the annual Austin festival.
AUSTIN, Texas — Comedian and former daytime talk show host Ellen DeGeneres is hitting the road one final time – and she's making a stop in Austin.
Earlier this month, DeGeneres announced she would be returning to Netflix with a new comedy special. Now we know that special will be taped during the last two shows of her upcoming" "To answer the questions everyone is asking me – Yes, I’m going to talk about it. Yes this is my last special. Yes, Portia really is that pretty in real life," DeGeneresOn Wednesday, DeGeneres released the full list of dates for her final stand-up tour, including a stop at ACL Live at the Moody Theater in Austin on July 13. She will also make two other Texas stops, at Fair Park in Dallas on July 10 and the Majestic Theatre in San Antonio on July 12.
Several of DeGeneres' final tour dates are already sold out, including the first of her two opening shows in San Diego, all three shows in Oregon and two of her three shows in Santa Rosa, California. The full list of dates indicates she will be taping her Netflix special in mid-August, during her final two shows in Minneapolis. for the"Ellen's Last Stand...Up" tour begins Thursday, May 30, at 10 a.m. with the code CHICKEN.
