Ellie Goulding documented her latest trip to the Central American country in a flurry of Instagram snaps on Wednesday.
She's been dividing her time between her native England and Costa Rica where her new boyfriend Armando Perez resides.
As well as spending time by the ocean, the mother-of-one - who recently split from her husband Caspar Jopling - explored the lush rainforest on her trip. Ellie captioned the snaps 'Opacity', meaning the quality of being difficult to understand or know about. The once-loved couple, who were married in August 2019 at York Minster surrounded by A-list guests, were said to be trying to work out for their three-year-old son Arthur.
Ellie also shared black and white snaps from her time away, wowing in a halterneck bikini and posing on the beach in a white vest Friends of the couple told MailOnline 'divorce is the only outcome' following their split after two years battling to save their relationship. 'It wasn't necessarily the outcome they have always wanted but that's where they are, Ellie is ready to date other men if he isn't already, Caspar surely will be back out on the market again soon.'
