Chechen dictator invites tech billionaire to Chechnya as 'honoured guest'
has angrily denied giving a $100,000 Cybertruck to Chechen warlord Ramzan Kadyrov, who posted a video of himself with the Tesla-made vehicle claiming it was a gift from the tech billionaire.
Mr Kadyrov is the leader of the Chechen Republic, a semi-autonomous region of Russia, who has been sanctioned by the UK, US, and EU for alleged war crimes and corruption. “We received a Tesla cybertruck from the esteemed Elon Musk. I had the pleasure of testing the new technology and saw for myself that it is not by chance that it is called ‘Cyberbeast’. A real invulnerable and fast animal,” said the Chechen leader.
