Reason Elton John is skipping godson Brooklyn Beckham's wedding
The creme de la creme of the entertainment and fashion world is set to attend Brooklyn Beckham's extravagant nuptials to Nicola Peltz.
Since being made godfather to Brooklyn and his brother Romeo, icon Elton, his husband David Furnish and their kids, Zachary and Elijah, have enjoyed regular holidays with David and Victoria and their brood.However, the reason why Elton is unable to make it is because the wedding clashes with his rescheduled tour.
A source close to Beckham's family told The Mail in 2004: "You have to ask yourself why it is that Liz Hurley and Elton John have been asked to be godparents when David's own flesh and blood have been excluded.
