Diane McBain, who wast most well known for starring alongside Elvis Presley in the hit movie Spinout, has passed away at the age of 81 following a battle with cancer
The actress was best known for appearing alongside Elvis Presley in the 1966 film Spintout as well as starring on the ABC show Surfside 6.
Her friend Michael Gregg Michaud, who had authored her 2014 memoir Famous Enough, announced the news on Instagram as he said: "It is with great sadness that I report actress Diane McBain lost her battle with liver cancer and passed away on December 21, 2022.""Sending my condolences. She was so fortunate to have your friendship, care and love." one person wrote with two black heart emojis and a red heart emoji.
In the same year, 1959, she burst on the screen as she starred in an episode of ABC's Maverick, where she starred alongside James Garner.
