EMERGENCY services locked down a Glasgow road after masonry fell from a building.
Fire crews and police were alerted of the incident on Oban Drive in North Kelvinside on Tuesday around 7.15pm.Building Control also attended and confirmed that the site was safe. Emergency crews left after 8.30pm. A Scottish Fire and Rescue Service spokesperson said: “We were alerted at 7.20pm on Tuesday, April 11 to reports of masonry which had fallen from a building at Oban Drive, Glasgow.“Firefighters gained access to the roof of a building and removed loose debris.A Police
spokesperson said: “Around 7.15pm on Tuesday, April 11, we were called to reports of fallen masonry from a building in Oban Drive, Glasgow."Arrangements were made for the road and footpaths to be cleared.”
