A spokesperson for Police Scotland said: "Emergency services are responding to a fire at a block of flats in Claude Avenue in Cambuslang. We were called to the scene around 8.15 am on Sunday, 18 August. Access to the street is restricted and members of the public are being asked to avoid the area."
