Residents in parts of the Sunshine Coast and near Emerald have been told to leave immediately with fast-moving bushfires expected to impact roads and properties.

The Queensland Fire and Emergency Service is urging those on and around Mawsons Road and Holt Road in Beerwah to leave immediately, with the blaze expected to impact Mawsons Road this afternoon.
