“We are so proud of him,” said Emery ahead of Villa’s return to Premier League action at home to Liverpool on Boxing Day. “I will speak with him next week about some of the celebrations, but I respect, because he is now under his national team.“When he’s going to be back with us and he’s our responsibility [again], then we can speak about it.”
