Emma Raducanu's struggles with hiring a permanent coach has even caught the attention of the royal family.from Sebastian Sachs as she recovers from a triple surgery.The 20-year-old has had five coaches in under two years now as she struggles continue after her US Open win.
Raducanu revealed that King Charles III gave her some 'banter' about the situation when she picked up her recent MBE., she said: “He asked me, ‘So, have you found a coach?’ I was like, ‘That’s good banter!’ It was so funny, I was laughing because everyone was ripping me for not having a coach. I was like, ‘The fact you know this, I feel honoured.’ ”
Raducanu's rise to one of the most recognisable and marketable athletes on the planet has been meteoric.
