British tennis star Emma Raducanu has turned to Andy Murray’s former trainer Jez Green to address her ongoing injury woes.
Raducanu has struggled with on-and-off injuries ever since her incredible triumph at the 2021 US Open and is also seeking a new permanent coach to work with after she decided not to extend her partnership with Russian Dmitry Tursunov.and since then has had injury problems at three different WTA Tour tournaments.
Raducanu then participated at last month’s Korea Open – reaching her first semi-final of the season – but was forced to retire after suffering a left glute injury in the third set of her match against top seed Jeļena Ostapenko. Following that defeat, Raducanu decided to withdraw from the Transylvania Open in Romania – the country where her father is from – as well as the Guadalajara Open, citing a wrist injury as her reason not to compete at the two tournaments.supports HTML5 video
