Emmerdale and Coronation Street taken off air in ITV schedule shake-up

Emmerdale and Coronation Street have been taken off air tonight in an ITV schedule shake-up as ITV will be showing coverage of the Women's International Football

Soap fans are facing schedule shake-ups as Emmerdale and Coronation Street will not be airing tonight, Friday 25 October, as usual. From 7pm, ITV1 will be showing Live Women’s International Football as England take on Germany. Kick off is at 7.30pm and coverage of the football will continue until 10pm.

Pregnant Laura Woods, 37, – who is expecting her first child with Love Island star fiancé Adam Collard – will front tonight's sports coverage. Addressing their nine year age gap, Adam told us: "Funnily enough, I had this conversation with my dad before I met Laura. I was like, I feel too far in front of my friends because of what I do with work and my responsibilities. I have two gyms, and the online clothing business, and I can’t relate to my friends as much.
