Emmerdale spoilers as character makes shock return and Jai's real dad is revealed
Emmerdale veterans Laurel Thomas and Jai Sharma are set to tie the knot next week in dramatic scenes.
And things go from bad to worse for Jai when he is left gobsmacked by his mother Georgia Sharma's shock arrival in the village. Jai's mum has been recast as EastEnders star Lin Blakley. Later, in a drunken state, Rishi encounters Georgia while heading to confront Jai and to Laurel's shock, Rishi soon makes a hurtful comment about her past abortion and Georgia becomes furious at the escalation caused by his intoxicated outburst.
Things soon escalate as Georgia, Jai, and Rishi get into a heated argument with the latter storming out. Despite his frustrations, Jai assures Georgia he wants her to attend the wedding and she is grateful when he relents and allows Rishi to be present as well.
