Emmerdale's latest episode has teased a grim fate for Belle Dingle in a tense confrontation with Tom King.
The situation escalated when Tom chillingly threatened, "I will kill you before I let you leave this house." Actor James Chase, who brings the character of Tom to life, has opened up about the demands of portraying such intense drama. Discussing his approach to decompressing after filming, he revealed: "I've played other complicated and villainous characters. I'm glad I've done that as it helped me coming into this.""There are definitely days when we're doing a lot of difficult scenes - a lot of manipulating, a lot of gaslighting, especially the physical stuff.
"It took a bit of getting used to but as an actor, it's great to play compelling and complicated characters. Yes, it is challenging at times but.. for me, it's just been so important to make sure I get it right."
