Louise Jameson currently plays Mary Goskirk in Emmerdale Emmerdale fans have just come across current star Louise Jameson ’s original role in the show. The actress is known for her role as Mary Goskirk in the ITV soap, who she has played since 2022. However, Louise actually made her debut in the Dales some 49 years prior to that. Back in 1973, she appeared in four episodes of the soap, which was then still called Emmerdale Farm.

The character was raped and murdered by Jim Latimer in harrowing scenes. Sharon was related to Annie Sugden , as she was the daughter of Annie’s second cousin Beryl Crossthwaite.
