Emmerdale aired an emotional exit for Samson Dingle on Tuesday after 18 years. The teenager, played by Sam Hall, was sentenced to four years in prison for lying about being stabbed by Matty Barton at The Hide.
As the pairs exchange got heated, Samson was later arrested for attacking Josh as his horrified parents, Sam and Lydia Dingle , watched on as he was taken away by the police. "The police have got Josh, on Eric's video doorbell", Samson said, "and he's said it's enough to incriminate himself about what happened to Matty."Samson also confirmed Josh would have to take his share of the blame for wrongfully sending Matty to prison after their antics at The Hide.In the concluding scene, Sam expressed his pride in his son, Samson, for being truthful.
But some Emmerdale fans have been left asking the same question, what has happened to Josh? Taking to X, one person wrote: "So Josh gets away with it all? #Emmerdale."
