ITV Emmerdale fans are in for a treat as one much-loved character is set to make a comeback on the popular soap amid growing speculation around newcomer Ella Forster .
On their moving day, Mandy stumbles upon a childhood photo of Ella. The blonde immediately snatches the picture from her hands and dodges all questions about her early years "Diane Sugden did return for Emmerdale's 50th anniversary, leaving the possibility of future appearances open. A visit between Ella and Diane at a retirement community could offer interesting story development.
She also seemed open to the idea of reprising her iconic role yet again, teasing: "Who knows, she may return again one day! " The beloved TV character had been a central figure on the soap for over 22 years, with 17 of those spent as the proprietor of Woolpack Pub.
