Jai Sharma has gone to extreme lengths to ensure his estrange wife Laurel Thomas doesn't get her hands on his money amid their divorce, but viewers think he's made a huge mistake
Emmerdale fans have been left fuming after Jai Sharma was revealed to go into business with Caleb Milligan as he snubbed Laurel Thomas in their bitter divorce battle.
But after Gabby confirmed the money for the shares would be transferred over to Jai, he was seen making a sneaky phone to an unknown person - who now turns out to be Caleb. As the former couple spoke about finances, Jai said he was "skint" despite earning money from the shares Laurel had bought.Later in the episode, Jai visited Caleb - who is on a mission to form a new business that will rival Kim Tate's Home Farm, and the pair secretly sealed their business deal.
On X, one viewer wrote: "Just when I thought Jai had played a blinder with Laurel he does the dumbest trick by investing all his hidden assets with Caleb of all people ooh dear never ends in soapland #emmerdale."
