Emmerdale fans have rumbled Joe Tate 's true motive for his sudden Dales return. The enigmatic Joe ( Ned Porteous ) suddenly returned to the Dales at Christmas to witness the death of Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) - the husband of Kim Tate (Claire King).
However, it is clear Joe is keeping a big secret - but what is it and what's wrong with him? Fans of the ITV soap are convinced Joe's return has come because he needs to be back in the Dales, either for more money or because he is suffering from some sort of terminal illness. Devastated viewers took to social media to share their thoughts.
