Emmerdale fans think they have spotted the 'key' to Tom King's downfall as his abuse of his wife Belle took a fresh turn. .
But during Thursday night's episode of Emmerdale, viewers saw Tom turn the tables on Belle. It was her mum's anniversary and already emotional, she was frustrated that Tom was forcing her to stay at home to wait for a package. After being invited for a picnic by Sam and Lydia at Lisa's favourite spot, she waited until after the time Tom had said and headed out.
Admitting that he knew, she was furious at him for not being more considerate. As Belle told her husband she didn’t know he was aware of how hard the day was for her, he lashed out with a vile remark. He said: “I couldn’t be more aware if you dug her up and plonked her outside of the pub where she was probably at her happiest.”
