Emmerdale has issued a pre-show warning ahead of upsetting scenes. On Tuesday night in the ITV soap, viewers will see Lydia Dingle attacked by her childhood friend after their re-acquaintance following years apart.
In Tuesday's episode, Craig's behaviour turns sinister and he forces himself on Lydia. To make things worse, Lydia is also being gaslighted by Craig which increases her self-doubt, she is struck by feelings of guilt and fear that her truth will not be believed by those in the village.
