Oliver Farnworth, who plays John Sugden in ITV serial drama Emmerdale, has a famous girlfriend named Samantha Womack, but EastEnders fans will probably know her as Ronnie Mitchell
Emmerdale newcomer Oliver Farnworth can seek top-notch soap advice from his partner if he needs it as he's been in a relationship with EastEnders legend Samantha Womack, who portrayed Ronnie Mitchell for a decade, for the past three years.
Away from the cameras, the star lives with Samantha and he also has a good relationship with the actress's adult children Lily and Benjamin, and their father Mark Womack is also a close friend. Oliver's soap background includes portraying Andy Carver in Coronation Street, the waiter at Nick's Bistro who fell prey to a serial killer. "I got to die twice at the hands of Pat Phelan which is a badge of honour," he stated, reports the Mirror.
Oliver was covertly brought onto the Coronation Street set to keep the plot under wraps, shared on ITV's This Morning: "A lot of people thought I was rolled up in the carpet but that was him disposing of the carpet because it had my blood and DNA and things on it," and added, "But you never saw a body and that is something that has baffled quite a lot of people."
