Tom is in the hotel watching Belle on his laptop's puppy cam. She is talking to Vinny about his love life, before she turns off the cam - sending Tom into a fit of rage.
Jacob hadn’t told Victoria Jacob Gallagher had some exciting news in Emmerdale recently. His application for a six week placement in Berlin had been successful. In Tuesday ’s episode Liam was offering his warm congratulations to the young medical student. ‘You’re going to have the most amazing time,’ he promised. Victoria came out of the house at that point and overheard the last bit of the conversation. She wanted to know what the amazing time they were talking about was.
Jacob said he wanted to continue his training somewhere nearby and that way he wouldn’t have to leave her. Can their relationship survive this? ‘It’s only six weeks. You can cope without me for six weeks,’ she reasoned. He replied that he was sure he didn’t want to go. ‘I never want to leave you, Vic,’ he said. They hugged, but Victoria looked troubled. Jacob has already given up a lot for her, as their relationship caused a permanent rift between him and his dad David Metcalfe .
