Nicholas Day has joined the cast of Emmerdale in the role of Ruby Fox-Milligan's father Anthony, alongside actress Georgia Jay, who will be playing Ruby's daughter Steph
Two new faces are due to arrive in Emmerdale shortly, as Ruby Fox-Milligan is reunited with her estranged family following the death of her mum.
Nicholas played Detective Sergeant Michael Morley in Minder in the 90's but more recently he played Jim Prior in the latest series of The Crown. He also played Deputy Assistant Commissioner Donald Bevan in Series One of the BBC drama New Tricks. The actor tends to keep his personal life out of the spotlight and it is not currently known if he is in a relationship or not.
