Emmerdale fans will be left heartbroken as the fate of beloved dog Piper has been confirmed by the soap following an attack by Tom King
Viewers will remember how Tom King has been manipulating and mentally tormenting his wife Belle Dingle for an extended period. However, Belle recently found the strength to end their marriage.
In Friday's episode , the villainous Tom stooped to new depths when he attacked Belle's cherished dog Piper. The confrontation occurred at the Woolpack during Sam's birthday celebration. Suddenly, Belle lashed out, demanding that he leave immediately - a demand overheard by the rest of the Dingle family. A humiliated Tom hastily departed, but the situation soon took a distressing turn.
In the concluding scenes of the episode, a panicked Tom was seen hurrying back to the village with Piper swaddled in a blanket, feigning concern for the dog he had just hit with his car. Exiting the pub, Belle noticed Tom, who vowed to do everything possible to help Piper.
