Emmerdale viewers saw Ross Barton, played by Michael Parr, make an explosive return to the hit ITV soap on Monday night after six years.
However, soap watchers were left distracted during the scenes as they questioned where Rebecca White, played by Emily Head, was as Ross left the village with Rebecca back in 2018 to start a new life in Liverpool. In true soap style, Rebecca discovered she was pregnant and didn't know who was the biological father of her child before it was revealed that Robert was the dad. Despite their on-off romance, Ross and Rebecca rekindled their relationship in 2018 following Ross' horrific acid attack due to mistaken identity. Later in 2018, Ross left the village with Rebecca and her son Sebastian to start a new life in Liverpool.
