Emmerdale actress Daisy Cambpell has admitted she's had a 'tough year' after being axed from her role as Amelia Spencer on the ITV soap after 13 years on the show
Emmerdale viewers waved goodbye to fan-favourite character Amelia Spencer yesterday as she left the Dales for a new adventure away from the village. Actress Daisy Campbell had starred on the soap since she was seven years old and admitted she found it “tough” to leave the job after 13 years.
The 21 year old actress admitted one of the hardest parts of leaving the job was leaving behind her fellow cast members naming Eden Taylor-Draper , Rosie Bentham , Katie Hill and Jack Downham . In the storyline, Amy Wyatt threw Amelia a goodbye party and at the beginning, it looked like Kerry wasn’t going to show. But luckily at the last minute, she returned to say her goodbyes. Amelia then left the Dales with her young daughter, Esther, to live with her dad, Daz, in Leicester.
