Amy Walsh has been absent from Emmerdale for 18-months, but she made her return in tonight’s episode. Amy has been on maternity leave following the birth of her daughter, Bonnie with her EastEnders actor fiancé, Toby-Alexander Smith.
They returned briefly for the 50th anniversary celebrations where Tracy and Nate reunited despite her being engaged to someone else. “I just think that's so true to life – work pulls you away from each other, parenting in general is really hard to keep your relationship alive. I'm sure there's probably more extreme situations that might test them!"
