Amy left the ITV soap this year to go on maternity leave
Emmerdale star Amy Walsh has announced the name of her second daughter after giving birth to her earlier this year.actress Amy Walsh shared the first picture of her newborn baby girl after welcoming her second daughter with soap star husband, Toby-Alexander Smith.
Come Dancing back in 2019 when Amy was supporting Emmerdale co-star Kelvin Fletcher and Toby was cheering on co-star EmmaOn her Instagram, Amy shared a black and white photo showing her baby daughter's legs with the hospital band still around one of them. She gushed: "This time last week I was heading into established labour.
"We've been in the most magical bubble ever since". The actress was congratulated by her co-stars, as Katie Hill penned: "Omg congratulations to you both!!
" and Isabel Hodgins who welcomed her little girl Georgie this year, added: "Amazing!! " After having welcomed their first daughter Bonnie back in 2021, the couple announced last year that they were expecting another family member. Taking to Instagram at the time, she posted a black and white video set to Nick Drake's 'Northern Sky'. In the clip, she could be heard telling Bonnie: "Mummy and daddy have got a special secret to tell you.
" The actress announced that her and Toby will be running their own family page over on Facebook, Amy & Toby - Family Life, to share updates on their life as a family of four. On Monday , the couple took to their Facebook page and announced the name of their second daughter for the first time, Nell Rose Smith.
Sharing a sweet black and white image of Nell, they wrote: "Hello and welcome to Amy & Toby – Family Life We thought we’d start by introducing the newest member of our little family who is already 12 weeks old today "Meet Nell Rose Smith Alongside the beautiful moments, we’ll be sharing a little glimpse into our family life, balancing work and parenthood, and all the chaos in between. Thanks for joining us. Amy & Toby x".
Over on Amy's Instagram, she gave a glimpse of Nell's bedroom adding that it's "coming together" as she showed the pink rose wallpaper with a stunning green paint on the bottom half of the wall. Amy recently left the Dales behind as she welcomed her second daughter. She left in March, just weeks after viewers also said "see you soon" to Isabel Hodgins who is also currently on maternity leave after welcoming baby Georgie.
