Emmerdale's Cain Dingle disowned his son Nate Robinson after he was told that wife Moira had tried to kiss him - but viewers have been quick to point out that he's making a huge mistake
Earlier this week, Cain, played by Jeff Hordley, was shocked to learn that his wife Moira Dingle, portrayed by Natalie J Robb, had 'kissed' her stepson Nate Robinson, played by Jurell Carter. In scenes from last week, Moira tried to kiss Nate, who firmly rebuffed her and chastised her for her actions.
Cain was furious as he confronted Nate and assaulted him in shocking scenes on Monday, where he disowned his son despite his emotional denials. Meanwhile, later in the episode, things took a turn for the worse when Ruby Fox-Milligan, played by Beth Cordingly, arrived to taunt Moira, reports the Express.
The situation escalated when Moira fired a warning shot into the air, causing Ruby to panic as the bullet hit a light bulb and sparks flew. A struggle for the shotgun ended with Moira knocking Ruby unconscious with a blow to the head. When Moira finally came to, she was left confused by the events that had unfolded.
Despite agreeing to undergo blood tests to determine the cause of her behaviour, last week's episodes revealed that Moira had completely forgotten about her medical appointment, leading to a frustrated Cain storming off. Taking to social media over recent scenes, viewers were quick to criticise Cain for not realising that Moira is obviously acting out of character amid the 'kiss' with Nate.
