As with every Christmas there will be some changes to airdates and timeslots over the festive period
Emmerdale has confirmed it's full schedule for over the festive period as the ITV soap gears up for a whole host of drama this Christmas.
However, it's worth noting there will be a few changes to the schedule, to make sure you don't miss out on any of the hugely anticipated action! This year both Christmas and New Years Day fall on weekends, this means the broadcaster will be airing extra episodes on days that the much-loved soap doesn't usually show.
There will also be a 30-minute special episode on New Years Eve, however, there will not be a New Years Day special this year.Sunday, December 25 6pm Friday, December 30 7pm Emmerdale will return to its usual schedule on Monday, January 2, when the show will air in it's normal timeslot of 7.30pm. This is with the exception of Friday, January 6, when the show will air slightly earlier at 7pm, due to ITV1's live coverage of the Manchester United vs Everton game.
