Emmerdale star Danny Miller has opened up about his return to the soap almost two years after his emotional exit. The actor spoke out in tears when he shared his decision to leave the ITV soap at the end of 2021 in order to take part in I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here.

There were heartbreaking scenes as the Dingles laid both Liv and Faith Dingle to rest in a joint funeral, with Liv being killed in a horror accident amidst a wind storm while Faith took her own life as she battled cancer.
Speaking to the Manchester Evening News about his return, Danny said: "It's amazing. It's almost like a new job for me because I see it completely differently. I've been back a couple of times but I'm very appreciative of the job. I'm very thankful to be back here and I have a family now that needs feeding so it makes it a fun way to do that."
Asked if it was a hard secret to keep, the 32-year-old soap star quickly replied; "Yes!" He then added: "When Jane and Laura pitched the idea to come back, I was over the moon and so excited but they, 'There was something we want to do with it which means that you're going to have to keep it quiet'.
