Emmerdale’s Mandy Dingle returning to the Dales after 17 years
The larger-than-life character, played by Lisa Riley, made a comeback for a week earlier this year.Now soap bosses have revealed she will back again in September and have hinted that this time her return could be more permanent, with Mandy moving in with the rest of the Dingle clan.
The show’s Executive producer Jane Hudson said: “We have Mandy Dingle and her son Vinny coming back in to the village, which we’re all very excited about. “They come back with scams and everything going on. There’s lots in store and it’s going to be fun and very colourful, as she makes herself at home in the Dingle household.”She last appeared on the show back in 2001During her time away from Emmerdale she presented You’ve Been Framed!, was a contestant on Strictly Come Dancing and has been a regular panelist on the ITV daytime show Loose Women.
