Emmerdale viewers are convinced that John Sugden is about to kill Manpreet Sharma after she witnesses his increasingly suspicious behavior. John and Aaron Dingle are desperately trying to cover up the death of Anthony Fox, who Aaron beat to near death after discovering he had abused his daughter Ruby.
Emmerdale's John Sugden's behavior has become increasingly suspicious since his partner Aaron Dingle supposedly killed Anthony Fox last week. After Aaron (Danny Miller) discovered that Anthony (Nicholas Day) had abused his own daughter Ruby (Beth Cordingly) as a teenager, he beat Anthony to near death. When John (Oliver Farnworth) found out what had happened, he instantly started covering up the crime after confirming Anthony was dead.
John calmly discarded Anthony's corpse from Caleb's (William Ash) depot before taking his car out of The Woolpack to dispose of it. As Cain (Jeff Hordley) decided to close the garage for a few days, Aaron and John took the opportunity to strip Anthony's car in secret. But Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker) has heard them outside of the garage at night, making her suspicious. On Wednesday (January 29), Manpreet was leaving her cottage again when she witnessed Aaron and John hanging around outside of the garage as they continued to squabble about their situation. Manpreet decided to tell the police about the noises she has been hearing. She told PC Swirling: 'I'm glad I've caught you. I just wanted to run something by you, if you don't mind? 'It's nothing I just feel a bit of a busybody mentioning it to be honest, but there's been some late night noises coming from the garage.' Looking unimpressed, Swirling replied: 'Late night noises, like what?', Manpreet continued: 'Like banging and sawing, general garage noises, but it's not so much what they are, but when they happen.' Swirling responded by encouraging Manpreet to speak to the owner of the garage Cain and not make an anonymous complaint to the police.Later in the episode, John urged Aaron to stop thinking about Anthony's death, and refused to disclose where his body was buried. But Emmerdale fans think John is going to kill Manpreet as she is onto their 'strange' behavior. Taking to X, one person wrote: 'Has Manpreet got a death wish?! Grass!! #Emmerdale'.
