Longtime Emmerdale character Moira, portrayed by Natalie J Robb, could be facing a tragic twist as indications of her latest storyline suggest a distressing exit is possible. In a recent episode, viewers were left hanging when Moira was struck down by a seizure in the barn the cause of which remains unknown.
"I think Moira will get trapped in the fire then it'll be confirmed she has a brain tumour whilst she's in hospital. We know Nate is leaving - so he'll probably perish in the fire," speculated one viewer, while another echoed the brain tumour theory from earlier episodes. They said: "I said right from the start with Moira's odd behaviour that I thought that she'd got a brain tumour and I said it again last week too! #Emmerdale.
"As a soap actress, you are very much in the lap of the gods when it comes to your character and what happens to them. But I think it is important we do cover serious illnesses that hopefully will help people know they aren't alone. I know I would be petrified if I started to have seizures and had no idea why. It's a challenging role and a big responsibility."
