Ross Barton (Michael Parr) demonstrated his unwavering determination to see his son Moses in tonight's episode of Emmerdale . Following Ross' return to the village, Charity (Emma Atkins) made the decision to restrict Moses ' contact with his father after the young boy witnessed Ross punching Mackenzie (Lawrence Robb). Since then, Ross had been entangled in April Windsor's (Amelia Flanagan) storyline, which saw the teenager go missing.
However, in tonight's episode, Ross' focus returned to Moses after striking a deal with Charity. The agreement was reached following a conversation between Charity and Ross, who interrupted Joe (Ned Porteous) attempting to rekindle his relationship with his brother Noah (Jack Downham). Joe, who had left the village previously, was trying to connect with Noah by suggesting they attend a football match. Ross and Charity, after sending Joe away, agreed that Ross would scare him off, and in return, Charity would work on changing Moses' perception of his father. Acting on this accord, Ross stealthily entered Home Farm and confronted Joe in his bedroom. Their past history, stemming from Ross' acid attack intended for Joe but ultimately leaving him with life-altering injuries and facial scars, added to the tension. Ross issued a stark warning to Joe, stating that if he persisted in pursuing Noah, he would be subjected to physical violence. The threat, designed to silence Joe, left an unsettling impact. However, whether Joe heeded the warning or will challenge Ross by seeking Noah out again remains to be seen
