Emmerdale villain Tom King is set to depart from the soap later this year, following a harrowing plot of coercive control.
Some viewers are convinced that Tom's end could be fatal. One fan speculated: "Tom the immortal! What's it gonna take to kill him? He's been electrocuted and had an axe in the back... This guy is invincible." Another eagerly expressed: "Desperate for him to die," while a third suggested: "The end is near. I guess it'll end with a bang, well I hope so."
Cain Dingle has not hidden his disdain for Tom's actions towards Belle, and Sam is equally incensed after discovering her mistreatment. Could one of them be plotting retribution against the villain? A special episode is set to air in December, aiming to amplify the real-life voices of domestic abuse victims. Lindsay Oliver, CEO of New Beginnings Peer Support, revealed the conclusion of the storyline: "When Emmerdale explained they hoped to include the real-life testimonies of domestic abuse victims and survivors within these scenes, we knew it would be the 'true'st way for them, to authentically close this storyline.
